Nagurney herself is Ukrainian-American. Ukrainian is her first language. She is the Eugene M. Isenberg Chair in Integrative Studies in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Nagurney is an Affiliated Faculty Member of the school’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
