Pure Technologies Ltd. will present to a group of operational research and management experts on the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority's ("DC Water") pipeline asset risk model during the 2017 Business Analytics Conference, hosted by INFORMS, the largest society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research, management science, and analytics. INFORMS Fellow William Cook, of the University of Waterloo, calculated the best route for visiting 50,000 sites across America from the National Register of Historic Places. Traveling by foot via the shortest route, which stretches 100 times the length of the Appalachian Trail, it would take 50 years to visit each site.
